my multi region dvd player shows non-region 2 dvds in black and white?
it is a sony dvp ns36 dvd player, and a oldish matsui tv.
If your tv is old that may be the problem
take it to a friends who have a modern tv and try it to see.

Multi Region DVD Player Trouble?
I have had a multi region DVD player for the last year and have never had a problem. I bought Heroes HD R1 recently but for some reason it will not play. Does anybody have any ideas as to why???
